As many of you know I love bookmaking. I have taught bookmaking classes for over 15 years and really not mixed it much with Stampin' Up! Now, that I no longer teach classes at Paper Source, it is time to bring the books to SU. Here is a VERY simple little Album.

Goodies Used: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red, Candy Lane Designer Paper, SU Mini Envelopes, Pink Pirouette Striped Ribbon, Real Red Craft Ink, Rounded Tab, 1/16", 1 1/4" & 1 3/8", 1 3/4" Circle Punches, Metal Edge Tag, Silver Cord, Designer Buttons.

Made from the Congrats Stamp Set. (Sale-A-Bration...The only way to get the set is to get it free with any $50 order...you can email me or shop My SU Website.) I am working on a kit you can purchase to make this...but I have not quite worked out all the technical aspects...but stay tuned. Kit coming with PDF instructions...

Eastern Bloom Mini Book

A few rub-ons, some embossing, ribbon, envelopes and some punches...ya gotta mini book. I have been making little books for years...but never put anything in them. One reason I LOVE scrapbooking is to fill up those wonderful blank books with something that warms the heart and brings a smile.

I was thinking of re-making this book with a new set and paper from the NEW Catalog...what do you think? I also have been playing with the idea of a download tutorial. We'll see how much I can get done on that idea...

Mini Scrapbook with On Board Basics

Get yourself some book board baby. I LOVE to make books. I LOVE to especially make mini books. I used the SU Book Basics to make this little creation. Hope you like it. I just cut them to size to fit a little larger than the Bitty Book Refill Pages. IRL those pages are 3 x 3. Just wrap the boards using your designer paper like wrapping a gift or book board. Use your Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive and your Bone Folder and just look what you can do. Ring binders from Office Max covered in SU ribbon hold the whole thing together. Use your Crop-a-Dile to punch those holes. The big “F” is watercolor paper traced the On Board Simon Lower, cut it out and layered it. Add your handwriting and too cute. The lace around the edge of the leave (also watercolored) is created by punching out each scallop on two layers of scallop-punched circles. Enjoy and go make a mini book TODAY! Diana
